About Me

Hey, I'm Wesley, a tech enthusiast deeply into the fusion of education and technology. My journey started with a solid tech foundation at IFPB, and now I'm cruising through the second semester of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at UFPB.

I've played diverse roles, from rocking as a monitor for Algorithms and Programming Logic at IFPB to leading projects in the world of Physical Education. Our team's dedication earned us recognition and an award at a scientific congress.

Tech challenges? Bring them on. I thrived in two NASA Hackathons with Ctrl-S Mundo and 304, creating prototypes for pandemic and environmental issues in 2023. When not in the academic realm, I'm a freelancer at RapC, a startup I helped kick off. My tech toolbox includes Python, JavaScript, React, and more, enriching my skill set.

But it's not just about code. I excel in communication, team management, and project handling. From Microsoft Word to Figma, I navigate the tools like a pro. Beyond the screen, you'll find me spiking it on the beach volleyball court and diving into the Valorant gaming universe.

Balancing work and play, I'm geared up for new challenges in the dynamic tech and education intersection. Let's make it happen!

Experience

Rapc (Responsive App Programmer Crew)

I worked as a freelance front-end developer, where I had the valuable opportunity to enhance my skills in teamwork. During this experience, I worked with renowned frameworks, including Django, Tailwind, and Bootstrap. Moreover, I delved into using Git and GitHub, essential tools for version control and efficient collaboration in projects. This journey not only solidified my knowledge but also allowed me to explore and apply new techniques and approaches in web development, contributing to my professional growth.

World of Physical Education

I served as a team leader, producing inclusive audiovisual content for deaf students at IFPB Campus Guarabira, earning the "Methodological Excellence" award at the institute's scientific congress. Utilizing leadership skills, Canva, Figma, and the Office suite ensured project efficiency and quality, standing out in an innovative educational environment.

NASA Hackathon

I participated in the NASA Hackathon twice—first in 2020, contributing to UI/UX design, and then in 2023 as a developer. It was an enriching experience, offering a blend of programming challenges and networking opportunities. Working on diverse projects with collaborative teams heightened my problem-solving skills and showcased my development capabilities. These experiences fueled my passion for innovation and strengthened my commitment to staying updated in the ever-evolving tech landscape
